The adaptation of Solitude ran about 8 hours, so call that 4 movies. There have been some excellent documentaries, and certainly more than 1 film a year that I considered worth watching.

$400 is about 10-11 movies for 2 people. So one a month is pretty much even-stevens with that.

If you live (or watch) alone, the math changes a bit, perhaps.
