Something that works like Time Machine on macOS or Veeam on Windows. So one full backup then incremental ones at any given X hours/days and also browsable on file level for individual file restoring.

They tend to be server focused. borg, restic, etc. I don't know how practical they are on a laptop in a start/stop/suspend/internet-loss environment.
