I've been using GNU/Linux on desktop for over 15 years at this point. So glad that I don't have to use the latest versions of Windows which just keep looking worse and worse every year, to almost unbelievable extents. Mac OS I've always considered a kind of toy, akin to Android or tablet OSes. Cute, but there are far more important things.

I just couldn't imagine running a non-free OS on my own computers. Linux happens to be the one that I'm familiar with and I trust but that could change (although as the years go by, I doubt it will). But running a proprietary thing? There's just no way. I won't do it. Imagine installing wheels on your car that belong to someone else and having to ask permission whenever you want to drive. It's the same thing.
